El Festival Latino Americano de Cine de Carolina del Norte invita a
videastas, artistas, estudiantes y a todos los miembros de la
comunidad a enviar sus videos (de 5 minutos máximo) para participar en
el concurso del “Retrato Latino”. Por favor lean las instrucciones
anexas y llenen el formulario de inscripción.
La fecha límite para el envío de sus videos es el 15 de octubre de 2009.
Los videos seleccionados serán presentados durante el 23 Festival que
se desarrollará en distintos espacios culturales de Carolina del Norte
durante el mes de Noviembre de 2009. Los seleccionados entrarán en la
colección del Consorcio en Estudios Latinoamericanos y del Caribe de
UNC-CH y Duke University. Además, serán transmitidos por la televisión
local.

Dear Friends,
The 2009 Latin American Film Festival invites film makers,
artist, students, and members of the community to send their videos (5minutes limit)
to participate in the “Latino Portrait” project. Please read the call for submissions
attached and complete the entry form. The deadline is October 15th, 2009.
The selected videos will be screened during the 23rd Latin American
Film Festival which will take place in several cultural spaces of North Carolina
region during the month of November 2009. The videos will enter the collection
of the Consortium in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at UNC-CH and Duke University.
In addition a selection will be broadcasted by local TV. We appreciate the distribution of this announcement.
This is an open call, it is not necessary to be an artist or film maker.
We want to see the diversity and the reality of the everyday in the Americas.
